Last week, Rambam hosted its Annual January 1 Father-Son-Grandfather-Uncle-Brother Learn-A-Thon. The event started off strong with an amazing schoolwide Shacharis. After davening, all talmidim and their families were invited downstairs to an amazing breakfast sponsored by the Rambam Women’s League. During breakfast, the families had the chance to begin learning the m’koros for the shiur. After breakfast, everyone went back to the Shul, where certain talmidim were honored for their extra learning. First, Rabbi Dr. Andrew Sicklick presented awards to all those who have been participating in Parshah Yomi, a program where talmidim sign on to learn the parshah each week with a quiz every Friday to earn prizes.

The HALB first grade boys and HALB first grade girls each had the siddur plays on Sunday! They already love davening each day from their very own siddurim. 

The Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ) Junior High School held a meaningful assembly on Tuesday, December 30, for Asara B’Teves. The program focused on the power of Jewish unity in the face of ancient and modern antisemitism.

At Yeshiva Har Torah, connection and joy aren’t just saved for big milestones; we love finding meaning in the everyday moments that bring our community together. On the 67^th day of school, YHT joined in on the worldwide “6” and “7” fun, leaning into the creativity, energy, and unity that this playful trend inspires.

Over the course of Parshas Vayechi, more than 100 MTA talmidim filled the West Hempstead neighborhood with Torah, tefilah, ruach, and genuine achdus

Students across all grades at the Cheder Moshe Raya Me’hemna enjoyed two productive weeks filled with learning, celebration, and hands-on experiences.
