MTA’s Varsity Hockey Senior Night was a powerful moment of gratitude, pride, and reflection, celebrating the seniors who have helped shape the hockey team over the past four years. Teammates, coaches, parents, and faculty gathered to recognize the commitment and heart these players brought to the team and to the yeshivah.

North Shore Hebrew Academy High School (NSHAHS) in Great Neck welcomed Elnatan Mori, an IDF commander and combat medic who served on the Gaza front lines after October 7, on Friday, January 30. Elnatan spoke about leadership in combat, caring for wounded soldiers, and maintaining moral clarity in difficult circumstances, drawing on his deep emunah.

Bnos Malka Academy’s Grades 1-8 participated in a special Family Assembly focused on achdus and shared experience. Each month, students are grouped into “families” made up of girls from different grade levels, allowing them to build connections across the school.

Students in Lev Chana recreated K’rias Yam Suf by building models in their classrooms and then they actually reenacted K’rias Yam Suf as they walked and danced down the hallway with blue walls all around them!

Connecting with the world through chesed is central to life at the Yeshiva University High School for Girls. Over ten clubs dedicated to chesed exist at the school, and the month of December was designated as chesed month and dotted with volunteer trips and opportunities.

The Fall Semester Masmidim at Rambam Mesivta were recently recognized for their dedication to Torah learning at the school’s Annual January First Intergenerational Learn-A-Thon, where they were honored with plaques in appreciation of their commitment.
