Ateres Shoshana opened its doors, marking the exciting beginning of a new chapter!
There was a special energy as the students and faculty came together for their orientations, experiencing the school for the first time.
The orientation began with light refreshments, setting a warm tone as students met their teachers and classmates. Mrs. Meira Winter, Menaheles, welcomed everyone with a d’var Torah connected to Rosh HaShanah, followed by an introduction of the faculty by the Dean of Students, Dr. Naomi Saar.
After reviewing policies and schedules, the students were given a chance to get to know their peers. Students quickly bonded through engaging activities, including “Human Bingo” and a scavenger hunt that explored the new school – highlighted by a visit to the student lounge, with its air hockey table. Extracurricular Coordinator Miss Shayna Hoch then introduced this year’s theme. To commemorate the start of the year, each girl received a sweatshirt, which will serve as a canvas for patches representing school events throughout the year. These moments foster a sense of belonging, ensuring every girl feels known, valued, and encouraged to reach her potential.
Ateres Shoshana believes every girl can shine.

Each student brings her own unique strengths and potential, and with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, she can cultivate her talents, grow in confidence and capability, and blossom into the person she is meant to become.
The first orientation was just the beginning.
The staff and administration are filled with gratitude to the many people who helped bring Ateres Shoshana to life and share tremendous excitement for the year ahead. They look forward to watching the students and faculty build something truly special together.
