In 1998, Whitwell Middle School, of Whitwell, Tennessee, began an afterschool Holocaust education program. When one of the students asked what the number six million looks like, the Paper Clips Project was born. Many of us have seen the documentary that tells the amazing story of how this small town in Tennessee became the seat of Holocaust education for many in Tennessee and beyond.

Chesed is a significant aspect of student life at the Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central). Over ten service-driven clubs now exist at Central, and throughout the years, students have made countless mission trips both locally and internationally to bring aid to those who need it most.

This past week, in honor of Parshas VaYeitzei, Yeshiva Sha’arei Zions’s 3K and UPK classes celebrated an adorable early childhood mock wedding! Just as Yaakov married Rachel and Leah in the parshah, our little ones experienced the joy of a wedding with their own special celebration.
