Monday morning’s terrorist attack in Yerushalayim was horrendous. A custodian in a yeshivah, a newly married oleh, a yeshivah bachur, and a middle-aged woman were among those killed. Thankfully, a yeshivah student with a gun and an off-duty soldier from the chareidi brigade were able to “neutralize” the terrorists.
Incredibly, the media managed to spin the story. AP wrote that the shooting was at a bus stop that leads to settlements. Other news outlets picked up on that narrative. Aside from the fact that it is not true – the Ramot junction is a gateway to Tel Aviv – the implication is despicable. It is as though to say that the shootings were somewhat understandable since this was a settlement area.
The media is relentless in its skewing of the messages coming out of Israel. Everything is spun to deflect from the horrific evil perpetrated by Hamas-inspired terrorists. Nothing is sacred in the lying that goes on against Israel.
They ignore the speeches given by Palestinian clerics in the PLO who call for the killing of Jews one by one. Is it any wonder that they take this call seriously? Today’s bloody event is a direct result of those arousing words of hatred.
We know that the media has been complicit in the demonizing of Israel before the world. But you would think that even they have limits. Apparently not. Even a heinous act of murder must be given a spin.
Honest Reporting, the media watchdog, pointed out that the AP release said that the shooting was “at a bus stop.” This is as if to say that the shooting was randomly towards a bus stop. It was not. It was directed at human beings.
The entire genocide and starvation accusations are fabricated by the media and spilled into countless homes and celebrities’ and politicians’ minds.
It is hard to fight a propaganda war when the enemies are stacked up against you, as is the case with Israel and the media.
At this time, we need to take pause and recognize the greatness of the Trump administration in not allowing visas for all Palestinians associated with the PLO. This will stop Abbas from gloating in the UN over the recognized Palestinian state by many in the Western world. The Western world is slowly choking itself. It allowed countless Muslims to enter their lands and is being swallowed up by those very same Muslims.
Hamas released a video demonstrating how to kill a busload of Jews. Terrorists are seen in a bus simulating going from seat to seat, killing people who feign being shot. And this is what Tucker Carlson calls “a political movement”!
The AP announced that the terrorists shot at a gateway to settlements. It is indeed a gateway – a gateway to purgatory for the media’s outlets.
