On Motza’ei Shabbos, November 8, Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion High School for Girls welcomed prospective parents and students to its annual Open House at its Rego Park campus. Guests registered, received their programs and welcome bags, and found their seats – quickly becoming immersed in the vibrant and inspiring world of YSZ High School. Every part of the evening offered a window into what makes the school so distinctive.

Rosh Chodesh Kislev brought an extra burst of excitement to Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe as talmidim across the Early Childhood Program, Elementary School, and Junior High gathered for spirited mesibos marking the beginning of the month of nesim.

Yeshiva Har Torah launched a brand-new tradition with its first annual Giving Thanks Parade, and the excitement across the building was unforgettable. Students in Pre-K through second grade took on the role of creative engineers as each class designed and built its own incredible float. Featuring bright, eye-catching designs and imaginative themes, every float showcased remarkable teamwork and creativity.

CIJE ran an incredible Pinball Hackathon for HALB students. In the days leading up to the event, students built the bases for their pinball machines. At the Hackathon, they dove into hands-on workshops before designing their own one-of-a-kind games inspired by the theme of “Water in Israel.” They added obstacles, moving parts, lights, sounds, and all kinds of creative features. The students had a blast bringing their ideas to life and then playing each other’s amazing designs!

Last week at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe, the kindergarten boys had an exciting hands-on lesson that brought their learning to life. As the class focused on the letter hei, the children were treated to a special visit from Hatzolah of Queens and Great Neck!

While learning about the letter “hei,” students got a special visit from a Hatzalah truck! They learned all about how Hatzalah helps people in the community, and they even got to try on some of their gear.
