Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has agreed to allow Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee to question former prosecutor Mark Pomerantz about the criminal case against former President Donald Trump. The agreement allows committee members to question Pomerantz under oath next month in Washington and resolves a lawsuit in which Bragg had sought to block Pomerantz from testifying. The agreement was reached after the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay on Thursday that temporarily halted enforcement of a House subpoena that had called for Pomerantz to testify. The appeals court had been scheduled to hear oral arguments in the dispute on Tuesday. Pomerantz will be accompanied by a lawyer from Bragg’s office during the questioning.

Twelve high ranking House Democrats visited Israel this week in a strong show of support for the Jewish State. House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries was accompanied by pro-Israel advocates House Foreign Affairs Chair Rep. Greg Meeks, AIPAC friend Rep. Josh Gottheimer, and Jewish Reps. Sara Jacobs, Dean Phillips, and Debbie Wasserman Schulz. Though some have spoken out against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s judicial reform agenda, the delegation did not interfere on the matter during their tour. This is Jeffries’ first foreign destination since accepting his House leadership position. Two months ago, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer led a similar mission, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will address the Knesset in two weeks during his own visit, making him just the second House Speaker to conduct such an address.

Eretz HaKodesh Stands Up for Torah Values – And Prevails

The Eretz HaKodesh party of the World Zionist Organization was founded to fight for Torah values in the Holy Land, and that battle was on full display on Thursday in the plenary session of the World Zionist Congress.
