Your belly won’t stop talking to you. Man do I need a slice of pizza right now. I know, you just burned your tongue on a slice of pizza and realized that sometimes the ones you love hurt you the most. Heh. My eyelids feel heavier than concrete. This calls for that extra large cup of coffee. How do I take my coffee? Seriously. Very seriously. Oh, and I could use two straight days of sleep, too, while I’m at it. Gosh, I am just longing for a vacation right about now. Do you know what your needs are?

Your career is on track, your social life is booming, and you are father and mother of the year, eh? Happiness and inner peace are your constant companions. Or maybe not. Perhaps you’re feeling stuck and don’t know how to “unstuck” yourself. One day you’re the best thing since sliced bread. The next day you’re toast.

So what kind of person are you? Better yet, what kind would you like to be? Are you a good soul? When was the last time you helped an old lady cross the street, offered your seat to someone on the train, or gave more charity than you wanted to? We tend to seek pleasure and avoid pain at all costs. And we all truly have a need for love – whether we admit it or not. I bet you don’t know anyone who wants to be known as a “bad” person.

Why did Waldo go for therapy? To find himself. Well riddle me this Batman. How can you possibly be the best friend, wife, husband, or parent if you don’t know what you value in life or even what you have to offer? It’s not just about peeling those layers off of that onion to find the hidden “you” within, but also realizing who it is you want to be, and what is your unique destiny. And yes, we all do have one. Speaking of which, my wallet is like an onion; opening it makes me cry. Lol.

Are you the type who seems to end up in a holiday spirit wasteland? While everyone around you is planning family meals, or ordering gifts online already, you reign it all in and refuse to jump through the leaves or even play Dreidel? Well, I’m here to tell you that sometimes it’s healthy and even mature to harness all that childish sparkle and spunk, because if you can’t let go even during holiday seasons, when will you ever?
