HALB Middle School girls had their first Big Sister Little Sister program. Our sixth grade “little sisters” got to meet their seventh grade “middle sister” and eighth grade “big sister” and work on a project together. The girls had a great time!
“Grow Torah” is back in full gear at Lev Chana! Students tasted the tomatoes they planted at the end of last year, checked on the carrots and zucchini, and helped pull out radishes.

As the Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central) embarks on a new academic year, it will embrace a new theme: that of “Cultivating Courage.” “This year, we aim to empower all members of the Central community to face challenges with bravery, stand up for what is right, and support one another as we grow together – to cultivate an environment where courage thrives, and where every student feels empowered to be their best self,” said Associate Principal Ms. Leah Moskovich.
The seventh grade gathered the night before school started so that they would be fully prepared for the first day. There were two sessions.
The Middos Program is underway at BYQ! On Thursday, grades 1-8 gathered together for an opening assembly introducing the theme of the year. The theme of Tav Shin PEI HEI is HINENI – HERE I AM! Ready and willing to do your bidding.
