On Sunday, December 15, the Fresh Meadows and Jamaica Estates communities came together for an unforgettable family fun day at Hadar Bet Yaakov on Peck Avenue in honor of Chanukah. The event was filled with exciting activities that brought joy to hundreds of community children and families alike.
The day featured lively musical entertainment by DJ Avraham, a photo booth for capturing fun memories, face painting, creative arts & crafts, carnival games, and a delightful clown who entertained the kids with hilarious antics, and engaging tricks that had the young ones laughing and cheering throughout the day. One of the highlights was a menorah creation activity. Event proceeds benefited local families through the incredible work of Lyudmila Mierova’s All About Kindness initiative.
The festive program was hosted by Diana Iskhakov, and showcased holiday Judaic-inspired activities that unifiedly brought the spirit of Chanukah to life. The event was proudly supported by an array of generous sponsors.
The kids had a blast enjoying delicious cotton candy, popcorn, and pizza while participating in a thrilling raffle packed with amazing prizes. The event not only celebrated the joy of Chanukah but also showcased the power of community coming together to support meaningful causes and create lasting memories.
