Ezra Academy students began the school year with an exciting array of extracurricular activities, athletic opportunities, and meaningful chesed initiatives.
At the school’s annual Club Fair, students explored and signed up for more than 20 clubs, including Mock Trial, Debate, Kollel, Music, Newspaper, and Stock Market Club. Students spoke with club leaders, learned about the different opportunities available, and selected activities that matched their interests and talents.
The fair had the atmosphere of a mini-carnival, complete with snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, and music. The excitement and ruach throughout the event helped generate tremendous interest, with students enthusiastically signing up to become involved in school life beyond the classroom.

That enthusiasm extended to Ezra Academy’s athletic program as well. Boys’ basketball and girls’ volleyball tryouts drew an impressive turnout, as students competed for places on the school’s teams and looked forward to representing Ezra Academy throughout the coming season.
Students also demonstrated that school spirit at Ezra Academy includes giving back to others. For the school’s first major chesed initiative of the year, 30 students volunteered to help six local families prepare for the upcoming holiday by building and setting up their sukkos. The event started with a shiur on the halachos of sukkah building given by Rabbi Nash. Working together, the students transformed a practical holiday need into an opportunity to support members of the community and experience the joy of helping others.
From clubs and athletics to hands-on chesed, the strong student participation reflects Ezra Academy’s commitment to developing well-rounded young people who learn, lead, contribute, and bring energy and purpose to their community. It was an exciting and meaningful start to another year at Ezra Academy.
