Congregation Bet El of Fresh Meadows held its annual pre-Yom Kippur cantorial selichos concert on Motzaei Shabbos, September 23, to a standing-room-only crowd.
The golden fingers of keyboardist Ouri Bitan gave a special touch to the featured voices of chazanim R’ Meir HaCohen, shul cantor Yehudah Vaknin, Yisrael HaLevi, Yishai Ben Chaim, and Yonatan Tzaliach for the midnight production. Words of chizuk were delivered by the shul’s mara d’asrah and manhig ruchni, Rav Yaakov Nasirov.
