Rav Yaakov Ribowsky presented the legal holiday yarchei kallah shiur at Khal Adas Yereim of Kew Gardens this past Monday morning, February 18, on President's Day. The rav spoke on the differences between Adar Alef and Adar Beis, and hilchos seudas Purim, including Purim Katan.
The shiur was sponsored l’iluy nishmas the legendary ba’al chesed R’ Shlomie Gross z”l. The program included raffles for Shlomie! A life of growth and achievement by Rabbi Shimon Finkelman (ArtScroll Mesorah Publications - 2013), and a breakfast with hamantaschen as an Adar treat! In attendance was Shlomie Gross’ brother-in-law and co-president of the shul, R’ Aaron Cyperstein.
