Last week, on Sunday, June 4, the HILI Class of 1970 held a class reunion, 53 years after graduation, in Lawrence. HILI, the Hebrew Institute of Long Island (Yeshivah d’Long Island), was based in Far Rockaway, on the grounds of where Yeshiva Darchei Torah is now located.
The 50-year class reunion was scheduled to take place in 2020, but COVID prevented that from taking place. A joyous, exciting time was had by all. Here are the happy faces, 53 years later!
