It seems that Nassau County is also subject to the recent spike in violent crime. The recently-opened Seasons Express on West Broadway in Woodmere fell victim to an armed robbery on Monday evening, March 28.
As seen in video surveillance, a masked male suspect approached the cashier while brandishing a handgun and demanded cash and other items, making off with a mere $200, four packs of cigarettes, and a lighter. Nassau County Police Department quickly responded, but the suspect remains at large, as detectives continue canvassing nearby camera footage and other crime scene evidence.
