Bnos Malka Academy celebrated its 23rd Annual Dinner this past week at Congregation Ner Mordechai (Shaare Tova) in a most exquisite fashion. Over 430 guests were treated to a gorgeous outdoor cocktail hour before entering the ballroom for dinner and a very meaningful program. Executive Director Michael Salzbank remarked, “It was the perfect combination of paying tribute to four outstanding honorees and spending a most enjoyable evening with our parent body and guests.”
Bnos Malka honored Elliott and Nechama Strauss, Rafi and Ruth Setareh, David and Rivka Mierov and Mrs. Julie Faska. Rabbi Michael Weichselbaum, Menahel, along with the video presentations, described the contributions that each of the honorees has made to the school. “Bnos Malka Academy would simply not be the school it is today without the efforts and unique contributions of each of these people.”
One parent remarked that this is the only dinner they ever attend. They added that they particularly enjoy the blend of the importance and seriousness of the dinner and the lengths the school goes to interject joy, making it a wonderful night.
