Mitch and Laurie Kirschner delivered letters written by Lev Chana students to soldiers in the IDF. Every letter gives them extra strength to continue fighting for the Jewish people!

On the Tuesday and Wednesday before Chanukah, the Pre-1A boys at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe eagerly awaited the arrival of their parents for a special, hands-on, Chanukah workshop! The program began with a fun game of Chanukah BINGO. Then, each boy participated in two very exciting Chanukah projects. The boys created a Chanukah caddy, which they collaged in their own unique style. They were also able to make a stuffed dreidel pillow, which they sewed on their own! Thank you to all the parents who rearranged their very busy schedules to join us. The boys and their parents really had a great time!

HALB’s Mission to Israel has begun. They brought several duffels filled with boots for soldiers, met with hero Baruch Cohen who saved his entire Kibbutz on October 7, met with displaced families, and volunteered on a garlic field. The experience was a powerful one for everyone involved.

Hadar Bet Yaakov students lit their school with Chanukah simchah this past week with a chagigah, dance time, beautiful gift-sharing, doughnut making, cookie decorating, teacher parties, Chanukah Jeopardy, and Chanukah ice-skating. The plethora of activities wove into the students’ week as girls had academic classes “enlightened” with a little extra fun during the Chanukah week.

As the staff and faculty celebrated the departures of 18 students to Israel to learn Torah this September, it was clear that Ezra Academy was growing significantly in their mission to help students develop and grow their foundation for a Jewish future.
