One of the newest student-centered initiatives at Central is also a means by which to honor the memory of an incredible YUHSG alumna. This month, Central is officially launching the Adira Rose Koffsky a”h Humanities Scholars Program, an exciting new immersive experience that will support and nurture Central upperclassmen who demonstrate talents in literature, creative arts, and the performing arts.

Students in Lev Chana look forward to their Kindergarten Intergenerational Day, when their grandparents join them for a special morning filled with activities and songs. The children are always very proud to spend quality time with their grandparents at school!

YTM Says Thank You To The IDFThis week, the boys in multiple classes at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe had the opportunity to express their hakaras ha’tov to the IDF in Eretz Yisrael with a special arrangement led by Ms. Tova Friedman. After the boys wrote meaningful letters and drew encouraging pictures, the notes were sent on a flight straight to a special forces unit stationed in Gaza. The boys were excited to thank the soldiers, and to tell them that we are davening for them, and so thankful that they are on the front lines to protect us. We are davening and saying T’hilim, and should see only b’soros tovos.

Grade 7 students and their families had a memorable evening on Monday, November 6, at the annual Bar Mitzvah Workshop. Leading up to bar mitzvah season, students gather to learn more about what it means to become a bar mitzvah and how to appropriately celebrate the occasion for themselves and with their friends.
