This lemon cilantro salmon is made of super-simple ingredients but packs so much flavor! It’s my family’s go to starter for special holidays meals. My favorite way to eat it is with creamy tahini!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • lemon slices

  1. Place the fish in an oven proof dish (optional: line with parchment paper). Mix the sauce ingredients and pour over the fish.
  2. Bake on 450 degrees for 18-20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through. Place under the broiler for an additional 2 minutes to give the fish a golden crust.
