On Thursday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 5, HANC had two packed days of PD (professional development) for the faculty. Rabbi Hecht opened the PD with an amazing story about when you are united in your goal/mission, anything is possible. He went on to explain that our goal as a faculty is to make sure that everyone is focused on the student’s success.

Some teenagers spend their summer vacations swimming or playing sports. One of the things that North Shore Hebrew Academy High School incoming junior Ilana Greenberg did on her summer vacation is calculate the probability that a near-earth asteroid could smash into planet Earth and create massive destruction.

September 10 marked a momentous occasion for the Rambam Mesivta Community, as they celebrated their new home with a Chanukas HaBayis and a Hachnasas Sefer Torah. After 32 years instilling values of Torah, midos, and Excellence, Rambam continues its mission of raising Bnei Torah and the leaders of tomorrow at its brand-new state of the art facility located at 284 Mott Avenue in Lawrence.

HANC Middle School’s Eighth Grade Graduation took place on Wednesday, June 21, in the gym of our illustrious yeshivah. The gym was adorned with balloons and a “2023” arch. The graduates looked extremely proud as they walked down the aisle and their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were certainly shepping a lot of nachas.
