YSZ took the opportunity this week to spread gratitude amongst its students. Every class, from Pre-1A to eighth grade, worked on a gratitude project, taking the time to learn what it means to be grateful and why it’s important to express gratitude. The students celebrated the people and places they are surrounded by and appreciated the important things in life.
For example, Pre-1A created a “pumpkin pie,” where each piece represented someone or something they were grateful for. In the end, they enjoyed a real pie as a celebration of their gratitude!
Similarly, fourth grade painted rocks, with each rock symbolizing someone or something they appreciate. In these challenging times, YSZ aims to spread positivity and light with these beautiful projects, focusing on the positive.
