The middle school students at Bnos Malka Academy displayed their creativity, talent, and achdus in their exciting Color War event last week. Teams Ora (blue) and Simcha (black) enjoyed friendly competition with creative relay races like carrying a soda can suspended from a spaghetti strand, and eating applesauce while blindfolded.
Of course, there were Purim-themed races, like a dress-up relay race and putting the events of the Megillah in order.
The girls really got creative with their banners, songs, cheers, and skits, and had tons of fun decorating cakes, cookies, and classroom doors according to their themes.
Teachers were impressed by the tremendous achdus, kindness, and respect the girls showed towards each other – even helping out the students on the opposing team.
