Parshas R’ei begins with the words: “R’ei anochi nosein lifneichem hayom brachah u’klalah – See, I place before you today a blessing and a curse.” The Torah reminds us that every choice we make has power: to bring blessing, or, chas v’shalom, the opposite.
Chazal teach us that Hashem desires to shower klal Yisrael with brachos, and every mitzvah and t’filah we do tips the scale toward blessing – for ourselves, our families, and the entire nation. Even the seemingly small choices, the quiet acts of chesed, or a few extra kapitlach of T’hilim, create ripples that reach far beyond what we can see.
As we continue building from the days after Tish’ah B’Av, the parshah’s message is clear: Our avodah today plants the seeds of brachah for tomorrow. May our sincere t’filos, acts of kindness, and steadfast mitzvah observance bring light and y’shuos into the world.
May Hashem accept all our t’filos and bring protection, r’fuah, and n’chamah for klal Yisrael, b’karov mamash.
