In the end, he found a creative solution. “I buy human hair in bulk,” he explains. “But the quality I receive isn’t uniform. Some of it is gorgeous, platinum-level hair. Some of it is gold or silver level. The rest is still excellent quality, just not top of the line. I decided to take the two lower grades of hair and create new lines of wigs that I call Renana & Renana by Ralph. They’re a category or two down from my regular wigs, but still beautiful.”
