Colors: Blue Color

In honor of Thanksgiving, the students at Lev Chana and HALB made an extra effort to thank the people who help them every single day. They made cards of the school security guards, maintenance staff, local Hatzalah members and the local police department.

During a special challah bake, the seventh-grade girls had an inspiring and meaningful experience at Rebbetzin Jaeger’s house. Surrounded by the warm atmosphere of her home, the girls learned the step-by-step process of making challah, from kneading the dough to braiding it with care.

This past Shabbos, the MTA juniors in Rabbi Mendelson’s shiur spent Shabbos in yeshivah in the presence of Moreinu HaRav Hershel Schachter shlita and Rav Yosef Blau shlita, along with Kerem B’Yavneh Rosh Yeshivah Rav Aharon Friedman and HaKotel Rebbe Jesse Horn, as well as YU rebbeim Daniel Feldman and Danny Rapp.

Parshah came alive this week in Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe’s Pre-1A! The boys learned the important midah of chesed from Rivkah Imeinu and how we need to try to emulate this midah in our own lives. After discussing what a well was and how it works, the boys used a play well made from wood, a bucket, and a real pulley system!

The Bnos Malka 4th grade girls celebrated starting to learn Navi! They were treated to a delicious breakfast of cereal and waffles. They each received a special bencher in honor of the occasion, and played a game of bingo, with the theme of Navi. They then decorated scrumptious brownies, using different candies to create a scene from the Navi. It was so much fun and such a special event!
