Grade 6 students hosted a lively Tu BiShvat Shuk for Grades N-5 last week! With Israeli passports in hand, the younger students got to “travel” through Israel, tasting the shiv’as ha’minim and other yummy Israeli foods. It was a sweet, educational adventure all around!

MTA freshman Daniel Crystal organized a special night seder that took place at Congregation Beth Abraham during the Super Bowl. Delicious food was served, raffles were drawn, and serious learning took place throughout the program. Kol Hakavod to all the freshmen who took advantage of the special learning opportunity!

The T’filah Fair was an incredible event that showcased the boys’ dedication, creativity, and teamwork. At YSZ, we’re always looking for ways to get the students involved and make the learning their own, and this program was a perfect example of that mission.

This past Motza’ei Shabbos, alumni and friends gathered at Rambam Mesivta to play in their Second Annual Alumni 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, continuing the tradition of the school’s iconic “February Madness” High School Tournament, only now, for alumni!

Room 11 at Lev Chana created two “Yam Suf” walls down their hallway. Then they invited all the other classes in school to join them and experience K’rias Yam Suf together! Everyone walked through, cheering, dancing, and singing songs!

From January 2 to January 27, a group of students from the Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central) traveled to the south of Israel and joined Ulpanat Bnei Akiva Lachish to attend school and experience life as an Israeli student, as a part of the Central Ba’aretz Program.
