On Monday, June 16, Bnos Malka Academy marked a proud milestone as the eighth-grade graduates of the Class of 2025 took the stage to celebrate their accomplishments, growth, and the promise of a bright future. The graduation ceremony, held at the Young Israel of Hillcrest, was a meaningful blend of Torah values, academic achievements, and heartfelt reflection.

From June 8 to June 12 (Sunday to Thursday), ten students from the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) proudly represented their school at the prestigious National History Day (NHD) competition held in College Park, Maryland. Competing against thousands of students from across the country, HALB students earned national recognition in two major categories: Junior Group Website and Junior Group Documentary.

The halls of Bnos Malka Academy were recently filled with creativity, innovation, and Torah values as the eighth grade elective 3D Printing class, Design Fab @CIJE, completed a meaningful and inspiring project. Using Tinkercad, a program that combines 3D design and coding, the girls designed and created original pieces under the theme of Hiddur Mitzvah – the beautification of a mitzvah. Their challenge was to choose mitzvos that typically don’t have a physical object associated with them and then design and code objects to meaningfully represent those mitzvos.
