Our community is so fortunate to have Chazaq right here planning and scheduling so many uplifting events for everyone. On Tuesday evening, December 31, Chazaq hosted a beautiful night of inspiration at Beth Gavriel. Community members flocked there to drink in words of Torah at a time when the secular society around us was busy drinking and partying for the secular New Year.

On Motza’ei Shabbos, December 7, community members, local rabbanim, alumni of Yeshiva Kesser Torah, and supporters of the Yeshiva gathered at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills for an inspiring melaveh malkah in memory of the Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Elyakim Getzel Rosenblatt zt”l. Rabbi Rosenblatt’s beautiful nigunim brought smiles to all the attendees. Mr. Michael Septimus and Mr. Michael Poulad kept the music going.

There’s a small yeshivah tucked in Holliswood, Queens, with a dramatically reduced tuition that offers an outstanding secular and Jewish education to children, grades pre-school through grade eight. This school is called Yeshiva Primary. There is an advanced computer lab and outstanding science program, writer’s workshop program, art workshop, and all English studies are taught according to the latest New York standards.
