Mrs. Seeno’s eighth graders learned what it takes to be an entrepreneur while working on their Shark Tank Projects. Students chose their groups and had to create a pitch on Flip Grid, a prototype, and pertinent information.
Six groups advanced to the finals. There were so many great ideas that it was not an easy task to choose just six! On Monday, November 27, these six groups pitched their ideas in an assembly with HANC’s very own sharks: Mrs. Morey, Rabbi Hecht, and Rabbi Dworetsky.
After viewing the finalists’ ideas for the first time and asking questions, there was a tie. Dovi Lemel and Jacob Nelson won with their idea SnagTag, and Nili Brukner, Maya Nof, Katie Pilarski, and Shayna Wunder won with their idea of TutorBox.
Congratulations to the winners. They received extra credit, and certificates, and will be having lunch with Mrs. Seeno next week for their prize!
