This past Tuesday, the Seventh Grade at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe had the kavod of having Rabbi Shaul Arieli, rav of Congregation Ohel Yitzchok, join them for a siyum on Perek HaKoneis. Rabbi Arieli started by “fathering” the boys on the perek and was impressed by the depth of knowledge in the perek that the boys shared with him.

After the faher, Rabbi Arieli joined the boys for a s’udah in honor of the siyum and shared divrei chizuk with them. Rabbi Arieli shared that after Akeidas Yitzchak, Yitzchak returned to continue learning in Yeshivas Sheim V’Eiver. Rabbi Arieli pointed out that even when reaching the level of k’dushah that Yitzchak did on the mizbei’ach, without continued limud haTorah the k’dushah cannot be maintained. The Yeshiva thanks Rabbi Arieli and the community’s rabbanim, including Rabbi Mordechai Finkelman, Rabbi Paysach Krohn, Rabbi Hayim Schwartz, Rabbi Elimelech Gottlieb, and Rabbi Shmuel Marcus for sharing divrei chizuk with the talmidim throughout this year.
