Preschool students at Bnos Malka Academy enjoyed an engaging and educational matzah-baking experience, bringing the traditions of Pesach to life in a meaningful way.
The children began by grinding wheat, gaining an appreciation for the process from grain to flour. They then mixed water and flour to create dough, carefully rolling it out before baking their very own matzos. They even set an 18-minute timer to appreciate how quickly they need to work in a real matzah bakery to make kosher matzos. Each step was presented in a simple, hands-on manner, allowing the students to actively participate and understand the significance of the process.

Adding to the excitement, the children wore specially designed baker hats, creating a festive and immersive atmosphere. The activity combined learning and fun, giving students a deeper connection to the customs of the holiday while enjoying a memorable classroom experience.
