The sixth grade recently celebrated a beautiful siyum upon completing Parshas B’Shalach. The girls worked hard, built strong skills, and internalized many meaningful lessons, and their efforts were marked with a special and joyful celebration.

In Parshas B’Shalach, after Krias Yam Suf, Miriam led the women in song and praise to Hashem, accompanied by tambourines. The women had brought tambourines with them out of pure bitachon, trusting that Hashem would save them and that they would one day sing to Him in gratitude.

To connect to this powerful message, the girls created beautifully decorated tambourines to use when Mashiach comes, im yirtzeh Hashem very soon, and enjoyed delicious ice cream sandwiches shaped like tambourines (which, of course, will not make it to the final g’ulah!).

Baruch Hashem, it was a meaningful and memorable siyum that everyone truly enjoyed.
