In the new Marketing and Media class, created by Business and Entrepreneurship teacher Ms. Melanie Felsman, talmidim are experiencing a level of opportunity rarely found in high school. This semester, they received back-end access to CNBC Pro through a partnership Ms. Felsman secured over the summer, giving them a unique gateway into the world of financial media.
sThis week, the class welcomed a special guest: Mike Gershkovich, owner and chef of the renowned Mike’s Bistro in New York City. Mike captivated the room with his story of nearly a decade spent perfecting his craft, navigating challenges, and discovering the “secret sauce” that shaped his brand. He shared how his experiences taught him to build a clear identity and create meaningful in-house marketing that fueled his long-term success.
Mike’s Bistro has thrived for more than 20 years, and Mike still greets customers each night with the same passion and dedication that built his reputation.
