Bnos Malka Academy celebrated a meaningful milestone this week as its second-grade students participated in the annual Chumash Play, marking their formal introduction to learning Chumash. The girls impressed family and friends with beautifully sung songs, accompanied by Morah Rena Greenberg on keyboard, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.

The students decorated their own Chumash covers, adding a personal and creative touch to the sefer they will now begin to study. Following the performance, families enjoyed refreshments and a special cake generously sponsored by the Parents’ Association.

Menahel Rabbi Michael Weichselbaum shared an inspiring d’var Torah, noting that unlike any other book, a Chumash can be read by a seven-year-old and is also meaningful throughout one’s life.

The event was a true celebration of learning, accomplishment, and community spirit at Bnos Malka Academy.
