The Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ) marked Staff-Teacher Appreciation Week with a series of thoughtful gestures to show gratitude to its outstanding staff. Organized by the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the school administration, the week was filled with treats to brighten each day and express hakaras ha’tov to the incredible faculty.

The week began on Monday with the PTO serving refreshing boba tea and coffee from Yaaas Tea, providing a cheerful start and a boost for the staff. On Tuesday, the PTO returned with a snack cart stocked with goodies, including fresh fruit and vegetable cups generously donated by A to Z Supermarket.

On Wednesday, the administration treated teachers to a spectacular coffee bar from Latte Royale. With drinks featuring actual roasted marshmallows and everything in between, teachers enjoyed a well-deserved midweek pick-me-up.

Thursday featured a delicious build-your-own salad and rice bowl, provided by the PTO in partnership with Turnpike Burger Grill. The festivities wrapped up on Friday with a special pre-Shabbos treat of potato kugel and sweet Yerushalmi kugel, bringing warmth and comfort after a long week.

These simple but meaningful gestures were just a small token of appreciation for the incredible work YCQ teachers do every day. The Yeshiva is fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring staff, and this week was a reminder of how much they are appreciated.
