Orot concluded the summer with an amazing 4-day retreat to Pennsylvania! The girls were amazed when they arrived to unwind at the beautiful mansion where they lodged. It was stunning and spacious, and had a private pool and hot tub. On the first night, in order to get to know everyone better, the group picked out a name for their "Oroti" buddy, and at the conclusion of the trip planned to purchase a gift for their “secret girl."
The next day, the Orot girls set off for an awesome trip to Dorney Park where they went on thrilling rides and drenching waterslides. By the end of the day, the girls were all so tired from a great day of fun, and relaxed with a tasty homemade dinner.
The following morning, the girls spent part of the morning doing something they all love - creating Boba drinks. It was quite exciting because many girls enjoyed this experience for the first time! Afterwards, the participants enthusiastically went horseback riding through the woods and even trotted. Next, a shopping trip to Walmart was arranged for the "Oroti" program. The girls bought gifts for their secret girl hoping they didn't find out that we got it for them or and that they would like the gift we chose. That night, we exchanged the gifts, making the program a huge success. By the end of this trip, the close friendships really emerged.
However, the retreat was still not over even though it was the final day. The girl awoke early, packed, and loaded up for a drive to the biggest mall in all of the U.S. - the American Dream Mall. The group went shopping for clothes, makeup, jewelry, and of course some delicious kosher food. Afterwards, some went to an art exhibit and others window shopped. Everyone had a blast! Thank yous are extended to Orot for organizing, and to Ohr Natan for sponsoring this amazing retreat. The girls will never forget the moments!
