The Beth Gavriel Center, located at 66-35 108th Street in Forest Hills, is now operating under the Glatt Kosher supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens (VHQ). The certification marks an important milestone for the Gerov Family Hall, providing the community with another venue operating under the Vaad’s hashgachah for simchos and communal events.

The hall’s ability to accommodate major gatherings was recently demonstrated when it hosted the Queens reception and Asifas HaRabbanim for the historic Keren Olam HaTorah campaign. The event brought together leading Gedolei Yisrael, hundreds of local rabbanim, community leaders, and supporters ahead of the community-wide maamad.

The success of the Queens campaign was also supported by the active involvement of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens. Under the leadership of Rabbi Marty Katz, the organization helped coordinate rabbinic outreach throughout the borough, bringing together congregations and community leadership in support of Keren Olam HaTorah’s international mission to strengthen the Torah world.

With its addition to the Vaad Harabonim of Queens’ growing network of certified establishments, Beth Gavriel expands the availability of Glatt Kosher venues serving the religious and communal needs of Queens’ diverse Orthodox Jewish community.
