The Chazaq Third Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament was a tremendous success, featuring 24 competitive teams and a day filled with basketball, family fun, and inspiration.
Attendees enjoyed face painting, balloon entertainment, delicious food, and exciting tournament action throughout the day. Special guest and YU basketball star Zevi Samet was on hand to meet fans, sign autographs, and share an inspiring message about chizuk, personal growth, and the importance of Chazaq’s mission of strengthening Jewish lives and communities.
Zevi led a basketball clinic for children, giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, learn valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance, and receive encouragement from one of the game’s rising stars.

The tournament featured 24 teams competing for the championship, creating an energetic and spirited atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
Beyond the basketball, the event served as an opportunity to bring the community together while raising awareness and support for Chazaq’s vital educational, outreach, and youth programs.
The Tier 1 Championship was captured by Team Orbach, which took home the $3,000 grand prize.
The Tier 2 Championship was won by Team Sacknovitz, earning a $500 Reserve Cut gift card.

Chazaq extends its heartfelt appreciation to all of the players, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and fans who helped make this year’s tournament a tremendous success. Their support helped create a memorable day of community, inspiration, and friendly competition while advancing Chazaq’s important mission.
