Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced Tuesday that Nathan White, 54, of Rosedale, has been indicted on charges of making a terroristic threat as a hate crime and related offenses for allegedly posting violent threats against Jewish and Israeli New Yorkers, as well as NYPD officers and federal officials, on his X account in November.

White was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on a three-count indictment. If convicted of the top charge, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

“As alleged, the defendant used his social media accounts to issue explicit threats targeting Jewish and Israeli New Yorkers, in addition to members of the NYPD and federal law enforcement,” DA Katz said. “At a time when antisemitic vitriol is rising at an alarming rate, we know that words of hate often escalate into real-world violence. My office takes these threats seriously.”

According to the charges, on November 7 and 9, White posted a series of now-deleted messages on X that included statements such as:

“Imma kill ALL you FILTHY Zionist!!! ... DEATH will come to YOU soon by ME MF!!!”

“If I RUN into ANOTHER Israeli in NYC ALONE in the DARK, YOU ARE DEAD MF!!!”

“Israel, the Zionist, the Jews MUST pay with their LIVES for their BARBARISM... FACTS!!!”

White was arrested on November 10 at his residence by the NYPD. The investigation was led by Detective Anthony Rubilotta of the NYPD Intelligence Division, with assistance from the Community Security Initiative by UJA Federation and JCRC-NY.
