Pirchei and Bnos from the Kew Gardens and Richmond Hill communities enjoyed a special Chanukah ice skating trip to the Port Washington Skating Center, where the children spent the day gliding on the ice, laughing, and enjoying time with friends in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Rabbi Moshe Fogel accompanied the boys’ group, while Hadassah Gottesman accompanied the girls’ group, ensuring a well-organized and enjoyable experience for all participants.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to Rabbi Hecht of Project LEAD, who has dedicated himself to arranging meaningful trips for the children of our community, from ice skating outings to amusement park adventures. Appreciation is also extended to Project LEAD, OCFS, NYS Assemblyman David Weprin, and NYS Assemblyman Andy Hevesi for their support in making these memorable experiences possible.
