On Monday night, October 7, Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum presented inspiring Pre-Yom Kippur chizuk for the Yamim Nora’im. This event was a continuation in the series of community lectures sponsored by Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe.
Rav Oelbaum’s speech discussed powerful concepts that can help each one of us in our growth in avodas Hashem. Included in the ideas discussed was the precious value of each moment, the z’chus of being oseik b’tzarchei tzibur, and how having emunah at the highest level can assist us in facing life’s challenges. The rav ended his remarks with a powerful story of a person whose salvation came only because of his emunas chachamim.
Rav Oelbaum’s message was constructed and given over in a fashion that was well received both by adults and children. Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe talmidim, parents, and community members walked away ready to approach Yom Kippur, thinking about the Rav Oelbaum’s eitzos for being zocheh ba’din. The Yeshiva thanks Rav Oelbaum for giving of his time in the busy Yamim Nora’im season and thanks K’hal Nachalas Yitzchok for hosting the shiur.
