This past Motza’ei Shabbos, December 13, Chazaq proudly hosted its Second Annual Bowling Tournament at Woodmere Lanes, bringing together 20 teams and more than 150 players for an exciting night of competition, camaraderie, and community spirit. The bowling alley was filled to maximum capacity as families, friends, and supporters gathered to cheer on participants and enjoy this special event supporting Chazaq.
After an intense and energetic tournament, Team JSL emerged victorious. Congratulations to Team JSL and its players – Richie Grossman, Yoni Nenner, Yosef Fein, Gene Stevens, Heshy Kestenbaum, Moshe Fried, Yaakov Titan, and Josh Richman – on an outstanding performance and well-deserved win.
Tournament Director Natan Aboff expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “It was great to see the bowling alley filled to maximum capacity, with families and friends coming together to enjoy the tournament. The energy, sportsmanship, and strong sense of community truly made this event special.”
Beyond the excitement of the lanes, the tournament further highlighted Chazaq’s mission of strengthening Jewish education. Through its dedicated outreach and educational programs, Chazaq operates more than 20 locations offering Sunday school and after-school programs for Jewish public-school students. To date, Chazaq has successfully facilitated the transfer of over 2,000 children from public school to yeshivah.
Chazaq extends its sincere gratitude to the generous sponsors whose support made the tournament possible: Mobile Med, JSL, Sharona Beck Realty, Law Offices of Aaron Katsman, Meirowitz & Wasserberg, R & N Shidduch Chat, Shticky Situations, Shidduchprofile.com, Margaret Tietz, 5S Security, Prep Zone Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Discounted Postage Stamps, and Smash House.
