In this week’s parshah of VaYeitzei, we read about Yaakov, who continues his journey through life’s uncertainties. After leaving his father’s home, Yaakov encounters challenges, from strange dreams to difficult negotiations with Lavan. Yet the Torah highlights his inner life: Yaakov remains connected to Hashem through prayer, reflection, and trust, even amidst unknowns.

The Torah tells us that Yaakov’s journey included encounters that seemed confusing or even frightening – yet Hashem’s presence was constant. Just as Yaakov relied on bitachon and t’filah, we, too, are reminded that clarity, support, and y’shuos come through sincere prayer, even in moments of challenge or confusion.

This week’s message: When life feels overwhelming – like “Charan” or a place of uncertainty – take a moment to anchor yourself in t’filah. Hashem is present, watching over every step, and His guidance is closer than we realize: “Anochi imach…u’shmarticha b’chol asher teileich.”

May our t’filos this week bring r’fuah, y’shuos, and m’nuchas ha’nefesh to all of klal Yisrael.
