Communal Cholim List
In this week’s parsha, Yaakov leaves his home and steps into the challenges of Charan. The Torah tells us “Vayifga bamakom” — and Chazal explain that Yaakov’s very first response was tefillah. Before confronting Lavan, before worrying about livelihood, before navigating uncertainty, Yaakov anchors himself in heartfelt prayer.
Hashem then reveals the sulam, stretching from earth to Heaven, and assures him: “Anochi imach… u’shmarticha b’chol asher teilech.” Even in the most difficult places, Hashem remains with us, guarding every step.
This week’s reminder: even when life feels like our own “Charan,” a moment of tefillah brings clarity. “Achain yesh Hashem bamakom hazeh.” Hashem is present, even when we don’t immediately see it.
May our t’filos this week bring r’fuah, y’shuos, and m’nuchas ha’nefesh to all of klal Yisrael.
