The Hampton Synagogue’s 30th Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Cantorial Concert will take place Saturday night, November 29, at 8:00 p.m. Hampton Synagogue’s world-renowned Cantor, Netanel Hershtik, will host the concert, which will feature two rising stars of the cantorial world, Nissim Saal and Chaim Stern. The cantors will be accompanied by the Hampton Synagogue Choir; Maestro Izchak Haimov, Conductor; and Raymond Goldstein, Musical Director of the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, at the piano. The concert is an international gathering of the brightest rising stars in the world of Jewish liturgical music.

Nissim Saal serves as Chief Cantor of the esteemed Yeshurun Central Synagogue in Jerusalem. A world-renowned cantor, Saal is celebrated for his exceptional voice, impressive vocal range, and outstanding control. His musical journey began at a young age, inspired by the legendary Yossele Rosenblatt and other great cantors of the past. His repertoire embraces a diverse range of styles, including chasidic, opera, and classical music. His unique voice and versatility have captivated audiences worldwide.

Chaim Stern was born to a renowned family of cantors in Jerusalem, with a long-standing tradition in cantorial music. Chaim was recently named Chief Cantor of Toronto’s prestigious Beth Tzedec Congregation. Previously, he served as the Chief Cantor of the Great Synagogue in Munich. He regularly performs in concerts around the world.

The 30th Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Cantorial Concert will take place in the Berman Sanctuary of the Hampton Synagogue. Admission is complimentary. A dessert reception will follow.
