In acknowledging the commendable achievements of Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion students in grades 3 through 6, the yeshivah administration extends a heartfelt chazak u’baruch! Over the past five weeks, these diligent learners have demonstrated exemplary commitment in reviewing their 303 shorashim list.

There was much excitement in the air as the newly published authors of Mrs. Legrer's Class 5LL at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe shared their picture books with the classes in UPK and first through third grades. Afterwards, the boys celebrated with a grand Author’s Day party. This columnated several weeks of writing, editing, rewriting, conferencing, and illustrating their books as part of their Writer’s Workshop program. Their books are on display outside of Room 314. The class also held their first Spelling Bee of the year with Yisrael Wasser as the victor, Shmuel Deutscher as first runner up, and Yosef Yusupov as second runner up.

On Monday Morning, November 13, HANC High School seniors boarded a bus and traveled to Solomon Schechter High School where they joined in learning Torah and reciting T’hilim in the merit of the captives in Gaza in hopes that they are freed.

YTM Says Thank You To The IDFThis week, the boys in multiple classes at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe had the opportunity to express their hakaras ha’tov to the IDF in Eretz Yisrael with a special arrangement led by Ms. Tova Friedman. After the boys wrote meaningful letters and drew encouraging pictures, the notes were sent on a flight straight to a special forces unit stationed in Gaza. The boys were excited to thank the soldiers, and to tell them that we are davening for them, and so thankful that they are on the front lines to protect us. We are davening and saying T’hilim, and should see only b’soros tovos.
