In preparation for the school year, the rebbeim, teachers, and staff at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe came together for a day of workshops and conversations geared towards refining our approach in all areas.
The morning began with divrei chizuk from Rav Shaul Opoczynski, Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim. The Rav reminded the educators of the special z’chus that we have in partnering with parents to convey our precious mesorah to our children.
At the Yeshiva, the most important mission is to ensure the safety of the children in its care. To support this effort, the administration invited Dr. Shloimie Zimmerman, renowned expert and YTM parent, to present on the issue of student safety. Dr. Zimmerman incorporated components of the Safety Kid program, used to educate children themselves about personal safety, as well as sharing from his own real-world experience in the field.
The staff learned about the importance of awareness and clear policies to guide children, parents, and educators in this vital mission.
