Soaking in the music? Here at YSZ the answer is “YES!" The boys are proving that there is indeed a special connection between music and the pure soul of a child. They are taking it in and glowing with as much music and Chazzanut they can get.
Here are some of the things that are going on:
I challenged the boys to take my test on any part of the Kabbalat Shabbat to receive a certificate if they do perfectly. This certificate can be brought to shul to prove that they know it and be allowed to lead their congregation. So far, five boys have passed, and I'm encouraging them to start saying what they mastered in their Shuls!
May Hashem continue to allow us to use the gift of music to sing His praises and ignite our souls!
