Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe recently celebrated the completion of the V’Shinantam L’Vanecha chazarah program organized for the seventh and eighth grades. Sixty Junior High talmidim reviewed and memorized the shakla v’tarya of several blatt Gemara learned throughout the year. The boys have been earning tickets for each half an amud completed, that are redeemable at “The Store” for delicious treats. The project concluded this past week with an exhilarating trip to the Poconos for a day of snowtubing at Camelback Resort.
The adventure began with Rabbi Becker delivering a captivating bus ride shiur. Upon arrival, the boys enjoyed an incredible Holy Schnitzel lunch, generously sponsored anonymously. Afterwards, the eager youngsters headed to the slopes, where the crew went flying down the slopes in single and double tubes under sunny skies and temperatures in the sixties! Every minute was just terrific! Each talmid also received a ski hat emblazoned with the YTM logo they hold so dear! Rabbi Becker, Rabbi Kasirer, Rabbi Welcher, Rabbi Schauder, and Mr. Binyamin Small all deserve special acknowledgement for chaperoning and coordination, and to Wasserman Supermarket for their patronage.
Mazal tov to all the budding scholars who partook in V’Shinantam L’Vanecha. The hanhalas ha’yeshivah look forward to watching each bachur continue to excel.
