Vote For Me
Dear Editor:
Does anyone want to pay my credit card bill? No, I’m just kidding. After all, I’m not the ambassador to Greece, and I don’t have a $100,000 credit card bill. Instead, would anyone like to pay my heating bill? I shudder to think what that will be, and no, that $90 I got from President Trump won’t make a dent in the bill.
Sorry, Kathy Hochul. Do you really think a $100 check for heating is going to change my gubernatorial vote? Wrong! On the other hand, a $700 check might have made me think twice. Just kidding! These politicians are delusional if they believe they can buy votes. The fact is that many of us are not as naive as our parents and grandparents were. Remember FDR? Many Jews believed he was the best president ever. Little did they know he could have saved millions of Jews but didn’t.
Enough with the serious stuff. I have actually watched half of a World Series game. Tampa’s defense was so poor that they deserved to lose. Nevertheless, would anyone care to send me a $3,000 donation for a World Series ticket? I’ll even vote for you! Speaking of which, I had better go cash this check before Kathy Hochul reads this article and puts a stop on the check.

Calling Out The Hypocrisy
Dear Editor:
Although I usually enjoy reading Shalom Markowitz’s letters, I was quite disappointed with last week’s. He continuously criticizes Warren Hecht for his disrespect and contempt for President Trump. Last week, Shalom took Warren to task but then started calling other liberals derogatory names. Just calling out the hypocrisy.

Democrats’ Dirty Tricks Know No Bounds
Dear Editor:
The New York Times is the media wing of the Democrat Party. They covered up the Holocaust and Stalin’s brutality, and they hate Israel. Even the Times could not ignore the corruption within the Democrat Party and felt the need to expose it.
The Democrat Party likes to project. “Trump is a dictator.” “He’s a threat to our democracy.” Yet, it is the Democrat Party that is all those things. It is they who embrace Marxism. They not only defend but also embrace Islamism. Now, the conspiracy to defraud the voters of Alaska!
What took place in Alaska should frankly shock everyone. The lengths to which the Democrats went to search for an individual within the state with the same name as the incumbent Republican candidate to siphon votes away from him so the Democrat would win are remarkable. Just as President Obama knew everything about the Russia collusion hoax, Mary Peltola, the Democrat candidate, knew exactly what was taking place. This plausible deniability is bupkis.
Marc Elias, attorney for the Peltola campaign and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, is unethical and should be disbarred. He was also behind the Steele dossier of the Russia hoax. As I’ve stated numerous times, the Democrats will do anything to gain power. They tried imprisoning President Trump. That made the electorate angry, and we re-elected him in 2024. Now they think they can use other tricks, ones that seem legal but are dirty nevertheless. These are the people who should control our government?
Dr. Moses Pava, of Yeshiva University, wrote a book on Jewish Business Ethics. The entire theme of the book is that one should act lifnim mishuras hadin, one should act beyond the letter of the law. One can make an argument that following the law is sufficient. Our sages tell us in the very first Mishnah in Pirkei Avos, asu siyag laTorah, make a fence around the Torah. We have Rabbinic laws to prevent one from committing an isur d’oraisa, a religious prohibition that originates directly from the Torah. With this in mind, maybe Dr. Pava is correct. Maybe it is time, for the sake of our neshamos, to rethink any Democrat Party affiliation?
